DRY conditions and a salt-loving alga are likely the causes behind Lake Corangamite’s pinkish-orange water, with a salt crust around the foreshore.

It’s a beautiful place. I was lucky to photograph the region last year and got some amazing shots. Should try to promote the lakes more; too many tourists just run off to the ocean and the Otways.
