Interleague selector upbeat about squad

Colac District Football League interleague selector Murray Williamson says this year’s team is shaping up to be the strongest since the league returned to representative football.

STEPPING UP: Eighteen players attended the first Colac district interleague football training session this week including, from left, Brock Neal, Khan Beckett, David Dunne, Andrew Kelly, Tom Spokes, Ben Cox, Jack Melican, James Rowan, Dave Marendaz, Todd Baudinette, coach Adam Harris, Stewart Sutherland and Luke Burnett. Selectors are likely to finalise the team on Tuesday for the May 21 contest against Mid Gippsland.
