The State Government is set to start demolishing all buildings at the former Colac High School site, except the oldest heritage building, in preparation for its “disposal”.

The Colac community can celebrate a “win”, with the State Government confirming it will give part of the former Colac High School site to Colac Otway Shire Council.

Double yay! 1 for the demolition and 1 for old part staying.
I still think it’s a shame that it was left to sit for so long and get trashed as it has, when there were so many wanting to use some of the space.
So now that its got the OK to go, lets hope it starts really soon and then gets put to good use.
