Melbourne Football Club selected Gerangamete farmer and champion Colac district netballer Shelley Scott with pick 41 in Wednesday’s AFL Women’s draft. Scott’s selection in the inaugural AFL Women’s competition came after a stand-out VFL season with the VU Western Spurs.
