District welcomes its newest citizens

Dick Sum Cheng, Manzoor Hussaini, Merv Rae, Yakub Mohammed, Kahkashan Siddiqui, Marine Walsh and Mark Attwood attended a Colac Otway Shire Council Australian citizenship ceremony led by mayor Joe McCracken at Colac Otway Performing Arts and Cultural Centre this week.

Keen Colac fishers Merrilyn Glynn and her husband George Green regularly fish at Lake Colac, and have noticed an increase in the number of carp splashing about in the water or lying on the shore after being caught in recent weeks.
