League MVP returns to home club

The Western Eagles have copped a major blow with reigning Colac Herald MVP Jye Price set to part ways with the club.

Jye Price.

Geelong district league club Winchelsea announced today that Price was set to return to the club following three years at the Western Eagles playing under his father Paul, who stepped down as coach this year.

Jye Price, who won the Colac Herald MVP award as voted by opposition coaches this year, had been doing pre-season training with the Colac Tigers, but will return to the Blues along with fellow Eagles Andrew Bourdouvalis and newballer Lilian Kent.
