Two-time Simpson premiership footballer Grady Rooke is set to test himself in the Hampden league in 2019.
Cobden football officials announced on social media today that Rooke had signed with the Bombers along with returning player Ned Dalziel.
He will re-join former Simpson coach and new Bombers mentor Adam Courtney at the club.
Rooke, who played in Simpson’s 2014 and ’15 premierships, is one of the Colac district league’s most promising young players, having already represented the league in interleague and winning the CDFNL Max Gray Memorial Award for best under-21 player in 2016.
Cobden has also appointed former VFL footballer Daniel Watson as the club’s new assistant coach.
