The infamous Princes Highway “Blue Church” intersection is undergoing a major safety upgrade which aims to assist cars turning onto the highway at Nalangil.
New actions to improve notorious intersection
Regional Roads Victoria is installing side road activated speed technology at the Tomahawk Creek Road and Princes Highway intersection at Nalangil. The technology detects cars approaching the intersection on Tomahawk Creek Road, before temporarily dropping the highway’s speed limit on approach to the intersection via electronic speed signs.
