Hospitals controlled by the South West Alliance of Rural Health, which includes Colac Area Health, Lorne Community Hospital, Otway Health and Community Services and Timboon Healthcare, had their information technology systems infiltrated by ransomware by unknown offenders on Monday evening.
The Department of Premier and Cabinet released a statement yesterday notifying the public of the attack.
