Netball powerhouse South Colac is preparing for a changing of the guard in 2020 after decorated mentor Nicole Mitchell revealed will not fill a coaching position at the club.
Mitchell has led the Roos to their most successful era in Colac district netball, becoming the club’s first A Grade premiership coach in 2015.
The champion goaler netted South two flags from four grand final appearances after she took on the senior coaching role in 2014.
Mitchell isn’t the only key out for the Roos, with two-time premiership player and league best-and-fairest runner-up Edwina Parker set to part ways with the club.
