With an increase in family violence incidents in the Colac Otway community, Colac West Rotary Club is hoping their educational signs will empower people to seek support.

Colac West Rotary recently received council approval to hang their ‘Say No 2 Family Violence’ posters on the back of council-owned public bathrooms.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of the different aspects of family violence and provide information to community members on what supports are available.

Emerging Geelong AFLW star Darcy Moloney returned to her former primary school, Sacred Heart, this week as Geelong AFLW carried out its community camp in Colac.

The sessions featured Q-and-As from primary aged students, tours of local production facilities such as Bulla, and clinics for juniors at Central Reserve as part of Geelong AFLW’s bid to promote the need for a Colac-based girls’ football team.
