Tree planting season is well underway in the Otways, as AKD staff plant pine trees that won’t be ready for harvest for 30 years.

CIRCULAR PROCESS: AKD planting staff are well underway into the tree planting season, with a four-strong team completing planting 30,000 pine trees on the company’s Irrewillipe estate. Nearby another team is harvesting trees and will prepare the ground for new trees in the coming months to be ready for the next round of planting.
