Colac Otway residents will not be allowed to visit others or have visitors in their homes from midnight tonight, with the State Government announcing new restrictions on the shire.
The restrictions will also apply to Surf Coast residents.
Face coverings will also be mandatory in the shire from Monday, along with the rest of the state.
Trade is unaffected under the restrictions, with no new rules on businesses.
Premier Daniel Andrews indicated this morning that home visits were the greatest cause of community transmission.
