Colac Otway’s active COVID-19 cases decreased by three today, reflecting a steady period of low infection rates in recent days.
The shire now has 89 active cases of coronavirus, down from 92 in Saturday’s DHHS figures.
The total number of cases increased by one, bringing the total t0 109. But recovery outpaced new infections yesterday to bring down the active total.
DHHS has linked 83 cases to an outbreak at Australian Lamb Company Colac, the same as yesterday.
Surf Coast, six active cases, and Corangamite, zero, were both steady from yesterday.

Greater Geelong has 164 active cases, 10 more than yesterday, while Warrnambool has zero.
The state reported 394 cases today, bringing the total to 14,659. The death toll went to 210 after 17 more people died from the virus.
