Colac COVID count reaches 97

Colac Otway’s COVID-19 count rose by two to 97, with five further cases linked to an outbreak at Australian Lamb Company Colac.

There are 89 active cases in the shire, an increase of one from yesterday. Eight confirmed cases have recovered from the virus.

ALC’s outbreak now totals 77 total cases as health authority contact tracing links further cases to the meatworks.

Surf Coast has four active cases, Corangmite has zero and Golden Plains has 10 – all unchanged from yesterday. Greater Geelong has eight more cases than yesterday and now has 106 active cases.

Victoria now has 11,937 cases, which is up 429 from yesterday’s figures.
