Colac Otway’s number of active COVID-19 cases has nearly halved over the past week.
The latest figures from the Department of Health and Human Services show that Colac Otway has 48 active cases, which is down from 89 cases at this time last week.
It’s also a drop of seven cases in the past 24 hours.
DHHS has also revised Colac Otway’s total case count down by two, to 97.
DHHS has linked 83 cases have been linked to Australian Lamb Company in Colac.

Further afield, Greater Geelong has 158 active cases, Golden Plains has seven, Warrnambool has one and Ballarat has 27 active cases.
Victoria has recorded 279 new cases of coronavirus since yesterday, with the total number of cases now at 16,764, of which 7671 cases are currently active.
There have been 16 new deaths from COVID-19 in Victoria since yesterday: Two men and one woman aged in their 70s, four men and two women aged in their 80s and four women and three men aged in their 90s.
