Colac Otway’s active case count down to 55

Colac Otway now has 55 active cases of COVID-19, four fewer than yesterday.

And state heath authorities have revised Colac Otway’s total case count to 99, two fewer than yesterday.

It means 44 people have now recovered from COVID-19 in the shire.

Surf Coast Shire has six active cases, one more than in yesterday’s figures, while Corangamite Shire has no active cases.

Greater Geelong has 169 active cases, Ballarat has 26, Golden Plains has 11, and Warrnambool has one active COVID-19 case.

Victoria has recorded 303 new cases of coronavirus since yesterday, with the total number of cases now at 16,517. The state has 7875 active cases, with 661 people in hospital, including 41 in intensive care.

There have been four new deaths from COVID-19 reported since yesterday: Two men and one woman aged in their 80s and one woman aged in her 90s.
