One new COVID case in Colac Otway

One new person has tested positive to COVID-19 in Colac Otway Shire, taking the shire’s active case count to 13.

The latest daily figures from the Department of Health and Human Services reveal the new case, which takes the shire’s total case count to 98 since the outbreak began last month.

It’s the first new case in more than a week, with active case numbers plummeting in the past two weeks.

But there have been no recoveries in Colac Otway in the past 24 hours.

Surf Coast Shire’s active case count remains at four, while Corangamite Shire has zero active cases.

Greater Geelong’s active case count has fallen to 98, nine fewer than yesterday, while Warrnambool’s active case count remains steady at seven and Golden Plains is steady at one.

Ballarat’s active case count has fallen to four in the past 24 hours, nine fewer than yesterday.

Victoria has recorded 182 new cases of coronavirus since yesterday, with the total number of cases now at 18,029, with 4293 of them active.

There have been 13 new deaths from COVID-19 in Victoria since yesterday’s figures: One man in his 50s, one woman in her 70s, three women and two men in their 80s, three women and two men in their 90s and one woman in her 100s.
