COVID case numbers steady in Colac Otway

Two active COVID-19 cases remain on Colac Otway’s tally.

The daily DHHS figures indicate no change in statistics for Colac Otway, with the total number of cases remaining at 136 since the pandemic began.

Geelong’s active case count remains at one, and other municipalities in the region have zero active cases.

Of the 482 current active cases in Victoria, 468 are in metropolitan Melbourne and 11 are in regional local government areas.

Victoria recorded 14 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, and has added eight more deaths to the statistics.

There are two new cases for people whose residential address is in regional Victoria – at Wodonga and East Gippsland – but those people are currently living in metropolitan Melbourne and caught the virus there. They have not been in regional Victoria while contagious, and they remain in isolation in Melbourne.
