Five active COVID-19 case in Colac Otway

Active COVID-19 case numbers continue to fall in Colac Otway Shire, halving in the past two days.

Colac Otway’s active case number is down to five, thanks to recoveries in the past 24 hours.

DHHS listed eight active cases in the shire 24 hours ago, and 10 two days ago.

There have been no new cases in the shire since yesterday.

Geelong’s active case count remains steady at two, while other municipalities in the region have zero cases.

Of the 554 current active cases in Victoria, 14 are in regional areas.

Victoria has recorded 15 new cases of coronavirus since yesterday, with the total number of cases now at 20,100.

There have been five new deaths from COVID-19 reported since yesterday. One man aged in his 70s, two women in their 80s, one man in his 90s and one woman in her 100s. Three deaths occurred before yesterday.
