Five new cases in 24 hours

Health authorities have recorded five new COVID-19 cases in Colac Otway Shire in the past 24 hours.

The latest DHHS figures list 17 active cases in Colac Otway, up five from yesterday.

The shire’s total caseload has increased by five to 109.

Meanwhile, Corangamite Shire remains with a single active case and Greater Geelong has 38, which is two fewer than yesterday.

Surf Coast has dropped an active case to two, Ballarat has dropped from five to four, Warrnambool remains with two and Golden Plains has zero.

Victoria has recorded 113 new cases of coronavirus since yesterday, with the total number of cases now at 19,336, of which 2295 are active. This is down from 2415 active cases yesterday.

The statistics also list 15 new deaths state-wide, with 14 linked to aged care facilities.
