Regional Victoria has 74 active cases, which is two more than yesterday

But Premier Andrews said numbers in regional Victoria were tracking well, and was due to move to lower restriction levels soon.

Regional Victoria is averaging 4.7 new cases a day over the past 14 days.

“So regional Victoria is poised to take at least a step and potentially two steps. We will have more to say about that next week as we get closer to that 14-day marker,” Mr Andrews said.

There are 1336 active cases in Victoria.
