New cases in Colac Otway and Corangamite

The Colac Otway and Corangamite shires have each recorded new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.

The latest DHHS figures list 12 active cases in Colac Otway, up one from yesterday, while Corangamite Shire has one active case, up from zero yesterday.

But Colac Otway’s total case load has increased by two to 104, indicating two new cases and one recovery since yesterday.

Greater Geelong has 40 active cases, which is 10 fewer than yesterday.

Numbers are unchanged for Surf Coast Shire with three active cases, Ballarat, five cases, Warrnambool, two cases, and Golden Plains, zero cases.

Victoria has recorded 90 new cases of coronavirus since yesterday, with the total number of cases now at 19,224, of which 2415 are active. This is down from 2519 active cases yesterday.

The statistics also list six new deaths – three yesterday and three earlier.

They are five men aged in their 80s and one man in his 90s.
