Premier Daniel Andrews says there have been no new COVID-19 cases in Colac or anywhere in regional Victoria in the past 24 hours.
Mr Andrews spoke about the region during his daily COVID media briefing this morning.
He confirmed there were zero new cases in regional Victorian areas under stage three lockdowns, and Colac’s active case number remains at 25.
But he acknowledged Colac’s current outbreak had grown from one person to more than 20 in just over a week.
“That speaks directly to just how infectious and just how quickly this virus can get away from you,” Mr Andrews said.
