Vonnie and Ian Henderson say watching their son play in an AFL grand final from their Birregurra loungeroom will be hard, but it still doesn’t make the occasion any less special.

Birregurra’s Lachie Henderson with his mum Vonnie when he was drafted to the Brisbane Lions back in 2007. Henderson’s Cats defeated the Lions in Saturday night’s preliminary final to book a spot in the AFL grand final.
