The Conservation Regulator is stepping up patrols across the Otway Ranges targeting illegal and unsafe campfires.

PUT IT OUT: Campers should always extinguish campfires using water, and should never leave burning fires unattended. Campfire negligence causes about 10 per cent of bushfires.
