Colac Golf Club captain Michael Brennan says emerging star Tom Hanson might have hit form at the right time of the year after taking an early lead in the club championships.
Teen sensation starts strong
Colac’s youngest ever golf club champion Tom Hanson, pictured left during his breakthrough win as a 15-year-old in 2018, has taken the early lead in this year’s event after shooting an even-par round of 71 on Saturday. A potentail record field of 147 players entered this year’s event, with 41 contending in A Grade, including Brad Stephens, pictured right.
