Apollo Bay’s Gabbi Featherston has her sights set on next year’s AFLW draft and the 17-year-old is well on her way. The daughter of late Colac district football legend Peter Featherston, who spends upwards of 12 hours a week in the car for footy, represented the state for a second time this year, and has played a major part in the Geelong Falcons reaching this weekend’s NAB League Girls grand final. The Colac Herald’s Ben Martin caught up with Featherston ahead of the big game against Oakleigh.
