District welcomes visa plans

VISA LA VIDA: The new agriculture visa will replace an estimated 10,000 United Kingdom backpackers no longer required to complete the 88 days of work. CQ Recruitment’s Phillip Knight said the new visa could help farmers find employees during the labour shortage.
