Regional Victoria will enter lockdown from 1pm today, until at least 11.59pm on September 2.
The lockdown rules will be the same as those for metropolitan Melbourne, although there will be no curfew in place.
The five reasons to leave home will be back in place.
Playgrounds, basketball rings, skate parks and outdoor exercise equipment will be closed.
Child care centres across Victoria will be closed, except to children of authorised workers who cannot stay at home and, and vulnerable children. A permit system will apply.

Mr Andrews said the age bracket of the current outbreak was very different from previous ones, with 80 per cent of active cases aged below 40, and 25 per cent under nine years old.
