Health officials have listed a construction site at Lorne’s Stribling Reserve as a tier one COVID-19 exposure site.
A person who attended the Otway Street site between 11.45am and 4.15pm on Monday, September 6, has since tested positive to the virus, and might have been infectious while there.
Surf Coast Shire Council has advised on Facebook that because Stribling Reserve is a construction site and not open to the public, all the primary contacts who were on site have been notified directly.
Primary contacts must isolate and undergo a COVID-19 test, and follow direct instructions from health authorities.
Lorne’s Great Ocean Road health had a pop-up testing site today in response to the situation.
