Five new COVID-19 cases in Colac

Colac recorded five new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the current outbreak to nine cases.

The Barwon South West Public Health Unit in partnership with Colac Area Health is doing contact tracing interviews and we will advise of any further exposure sites.

Authorities have encouraged the Colac community to get tested at the earliest sign of COVID-19 symptoms or following attendance at an exposure site.

The drive-through clinic is open at Central Reserve, Colac. Entry is via the Hearn Street entrance for drive through. Entry via Gravesend Street for walk-ins. Proceed to ticket booth at entry to stadium.

The Department of Health is still listing two public exposure sites in Colac, at Coles on September 26 between 6pm and 7.30pm, and at McDonald’s on September 27 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
