Apollo Bay’s Commonwealth Bank branch has closed and taken its cash machine with it, leaving just one bank left for residents to do in-person finances.

ONE TO GO: Apollo Bay’s Commonwealth Bank branch has closed its doors and ATM access. The Bay’s Chamber of Commerce president Bob Knowles said the nature of banking was changing. But he said the closure, while disappointing, might boost the town’s community bank.
