Vic Country selectors have named Colac’s Brady Hall as emergency for the Australian Under-18 Junior Championships at Ballarat later this year.
Despite being a bottom-ager, Hall was named first emergency for the tournament which runs from April 10 to 17.
Hall earned selection to play with Vic Country’s under-16 team last year but missed out due to COVID-19.
The youngster has since become a key part of Colac’s Country Basketball League title aspirations.
Vic Country under-18 coach Brenton O’Brien, of Geelong, said it had been a tough selection process.

Where To Buy“It has been a tough process because everyone competing at the Challenge has put forward a case to why they could be selected and how they could help the team,” he said.
“It was clear in every game how much it meant to the athletes to be selected and represent Vic Country – to see the athletes getting a chance to finally compete against the best of the best was great and seeing them competing and loving the game was great.”
