Freak kidney injury downs young player

CUT SHORT: Alvie footballer Hamish Stinchcombe’s football season has ended before it had even begun after he suffered a ruptured kidney in a practice match on Saturday. The Swans will also be without Chris Paatsch, centre, and Lachy Mahoney, right, heading into round one, after both finished the practice match on the sidelines.
