Toxic algae poisoning a threat for livestock

WATER THREAT: Months of wet weather, and now the start of warm weather, have created ideal conditions for the growth of blue-green algae in farm dams and standing water. This could cause problems for livestock producers, because the toxic blue-green algae can kill stock or cause long-term damage.
