A 39-year-old man has died in a water incident at Glenaire.
Police believe the man was standing in shallow water with children near a boat ramp in the Aire River around 10.30am Tuesday.
The Truganina man got into difficulty and disappeared under the water.
Other swimmers saw the man in distress and pulled him to shore.
Paramedics quickly performed CPR, but the man died at the scene.
