Colac and district egg producers could expect a new competitor soon, after Corangamite Shire Council received a permit application for a three-hectare chicken farm at a former Cooriemungle dairy.

EGG-SPECTING: Corangamite Shire Council has received a permit application for a commercial chicken farm at Cooriemungle. The free-range mobile farm would be able to house up to 1000 laying chickens on Guys Road.
