Endangered chicks hatch

HOODIE CHICKS: The Surf Coast will soon have six new hooded plover chicks with two separate breeding pairs on the Surf Coast Walk. This photo was supplied by Parks Victoria and taken at least 100 metres away under BirdLife Australia Guidelines, to protect the endangered birds.

Hooded Plover chicks are hatching along the Great Ocean Road and Surf Coast, but authorities are warning people to stay away from the endangered birds.
