Nearly 200 cyclists will come through Colac tomorrow for the Melbourne to Warrnambool Cycling Classic.
The 107th edition of the Powercor Melbourne to Warrnambool over 267 kilometres will kick off from Avalon Airport at 8am tomorrow.
The second iteration of the Lochard Energy Warrnambool Women’s Cycling Classic – one of the longest one-day road races in the world for women at 160 kilometres – will start at Elliminyt’s Ted Taylor Senior
Memorial Cycling Track velodrome from 9.30am on Sunday.
And while the field is wide open and the ‘Warrny’ is full of fairytale finishes, it seems in the women’s Chloe Hosking, Peta Mullins, Gina Ricardo, Alli Anderson and Lucinda Stewart will lead the charge while in the men’s Kane Richards, Graeme Frislie, Elliot Schultz, Lachlan Morton and Connor Sens will be the ones to watch.
