Two young surfers and a regular Apollo Bay ocean swimmer have reunited after saving a tourist from drowning, saying beach safety is a major concern along the coast.

Apollo Bay’s Ben Firman was the first to the scene of an international tourist drowning at his regular swimming spot on the Marengo beach. Ben managed to pull the woman to safety thanks to help from young surfers Sam Langdon and Tom McWha.
