Cyril Marriner’s comforting voice booming across the loudspeakers will be sadly missing when the Apollo Bay community’s annual show returns this weekend after a four-year hiatus.
Cyril’s sound contribution to Apollo Bay show
Pat Marriner will attend the first Apollo Bay Agricultural Show without her late husband Cyril, who was involved in the first 62 instalments and was the voice of the event. Cyril shared the microphone with his granddaughter Evelyn Close at one of the Apollo Bay Agricultural Shows.
