This year's theme is "Our Nurses. Our Future. The economic power of care."

Colac Area Health nurses joined together to celebrate each other and the fabulous work they do to look after the community.

A sign recognising Colac’s service clubs has tak

A sign recognising Colac’s service clubs has taken pride of place on the Princes Highway, ahead of National Volunteer’s Week.

The double-sided sign, two years in the making, lists local service clubs including Rotary, Legacy Colac, Lions Club, Meriba Service Club of Colac, RSL Australia, CFA, SES, Victoria Country Women’s Association, Australian Red Cross, VIEW Club, Freemasons Victoria and Probus.

The sign is located on the Princes Highway in front of Colac’s Driver Reviver.

Over more than a decade of scouting, Colac’s Han

Over more than a decade of scouting, Colac’s Hannah Warton has gained lifelong skills, friends, and memories.

But perhaps the most special of all is the 18-year-old’s recent six-day trip to Canberra for a once in a lifetime camp on the grounds of Government House.

Hannah, a 3rd/4th Colac Scout Group Rover, was among 1400 Scouts from across Australia to attend the first and only Governor General Camp last month.
