A man has died in a house fire at Apollo Bay overnight.
Emergency services attended the fire at Diana Street about 12.30am Saturday.
A resident, a 40-year-old man, was removed from the property by fire crews and CPR commenced, but he could not be revived.
Another two men who were at the property at the time were able to evacuate and ambulance crews treated them at the scene.
Police have established crime scene at the property while detectives work to establish the exact circumstances and cause of the fire.
