Two Colac Otway Shire councillors have failed to get support for a cost-control provision for the $1.4-million Memorial Square toilet block redevelopment to stop funding blow outs.

COST CONTROL: Colac Otway Shire Council have approved the $1.4 million contract for the Memorial Square toilet block redevelopment to BDH Constructions, without a provision for the council to approve changes above a certain amount to stop funding blow outs.
