There has been a marked decrease in Colac Otway Shire Council’s glass and recycling bin collections since the uptake of Victoria’s container deposit scheme, which has seen more than one million containers recycled since November 1.

DECREASE: Colac Otway Shire residents have recycled more than one million containers through Victoria’s container deposit scheme while there has been a decrease in glass and recycling bins collected by the council.
