No plans to manage flying foxes as numbers increase

Almost 10,000 grey-headed flying foxes are roosting in heritage trees in Colac’s Botanic Gardens but there are no plans to continue the “nudging” or dispersal program.

BATS, BATS AND MORE BATS: Colac’s Botanic Gardens has 9500 roosting in a variety of heritage trees at the eastern end of the precinct near the garden’s fountain and playground.
