Organisers of a proposed Pier-to-Pub-style swim in Lake Colac will push hard to bring the event to Colac this year, despite the council knocking back event approval last year.

PUSHING AHEAD: Colac Club to Club swim organiser Heather Munro says the proposed event could have gone ahead based on bacteria levels being below the high-risk level on December 2. She and fellow organiser Tristan Read will attempt to get council approval for the event this year.
