Police are urging anyone who witnessed a tragic fatal crash at Irrewillipe or have dashcam-CCTV footage to assist with the investigation to contact Colac Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
A 33-year-old Irrewillipe woman died at the scene of a single-vehicle crash yesterday just after 5.30pm.
Police believe the white Toyota sedan, which was travelling west, struck a tree on Timboon-Colac Road.
A Victoria Police spokesperson has confirmed that the woman was the sole occupant of the car.
Police would prepare a report for the coroner following the fatal crash.
