Site remains a safety risk after works

HAZARD: Wild weather that ripped through Barwon Downs in December left dozens of trees suspended above the towns’ Bushland Reserve, and three months later one of the most dangerous trees still poses a risk. Dr Annelie de Villiers, pictured, has been calling for state authorities to clean up the reserve.

Barwon Downs resident Dr Annelie de Villiers has been leading calls to clean up the town’s bushland reserve, but despite clean-up work taking place this week the most dangerous tree remains.
